MASSAGE MODALITIES

Swedish

A gentle, healing massage used to strengthen blood flow throughout the body. This treatment is perfect for relaxation of tensed muscles and stress relief. This modality is suggested for first time clients.

Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage will physically breakdown adhesions to relieve pain. It is used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

Hot Stone
Hot stones provide a very healing and effective experience. The stones expand blood vessels, which encourage blood flow throughout the body. Stones can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress, and promote relaxation.

MediCupping Therapy
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, breaking up scar tissue and muscle knots, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
Two of the more popular types of cupping are Stationary/Static cupping where each cup remains in the same location, often for about 10-15 minutes.
And moving/gliding cupping, in this form of cupping, oil is applied to the skin before creating suction and once the vacuum is created the cup is gently moved over the skin so as to provide a form of inverse massage therapy.
